Use this page to upload the JSP file to execute when users view the page. You can also upload a JAR or WAR file, in which case you must also specify the JSP file within the JAR or WAR file to execute first when users view the page.

Field Description
File Name

Enter the path and file name of the JSP, JAR, or WAR file to upload for the page. Optionally, click Browse to locate the file.

If you return to this step of the Create Page Wizard while you are creating the page (by clicking the Previous button), the page you enter here displays as a link below the File Name field. You can click the link to download the JSP, JAR, or WAR file that you uploaded for the page.

Initial JSP File for JAR or WAR Files

Field Description
Initial JSP File If you entered a JAR or WAR file in the File Name field, in the Initial JSP File field you must enter the file name of the JSP file to execute first when users view the page.

  1. Log in to OracleAS Portal.
  2. On the Portal Builder page, click the Build tab to bring it forward.
  3. Go to the Page Groups portlet.
  4. From the Work In drop-down list, select a page group to own this page.
  5. Click the Create link next to Pages in the Layout & Appearance section.
  6. Make your changes to Create Page (including specifying a JSP page type), and click Next.
